Meet Maddi, Social Media Manager

What does International Women’s Day mean to you?

International Women’s Day means celebration. A day to celebrate myself and all the women in my life. Women are often overlooked for how hard they work, and it’s almost expected that they have their sh*t together at work and at home. Today is a reminder to recognise the effort, resilience and strength women show every single day.

What makes you proud to work at dusk, and how do you see women shaping our culture and future?

I’m proud to work at a company that employs a largely female workforce especially in leadership roles. It’s great for a company to support the equal treatment of women.

What does International Women’s Day mean to you?

For me, International Women’s Day is both a moment of gratitude and a reminder to keep moving forward. I feel fortunate to live in a time and place where I can build a career, make independent choices and shape my own future - but it’s also important to recognise that progress isn’t equal everywhere, and there’s still more to do.

The day isn’t about comparison or division. It’s about acknowledging how far we’ve come, recognising the women who paved the way before us, and continuing to create opportunities so talent and potential can thrive equally.

What’s one thing you’re proud of right now?

I’m proud to have built a career in fragrance from the ground up. It wasn’t a clearly mapped-out path, but staying true to my instincts, creativity and independence has made the journey incredibly rewarding.

Meet Amy, Senior Designer

What does International Women’s Day mean to you?

It’s day to celebrate and appreciate the impact women have at work, at home, and everywhere in between. Also, a reminder to keep pushing for equality and making space for all kinds of voices.

What makes you proud to work at dusk, and how do you see women shaping our culture and future?

I’m proud to work at dusk because there’s so much heart and creativity in what we do. Women play a huge part in shaping that across the company. They bring empathy, originality, and a really strong sense of purpose to our culture. I see women continuing to push the brand forward, challenge old ways of thinking, and help create a future that feels inclusive, thoughtful, and genuinely inspiring.

Can you share a moment in your career where another woman supported or inspired you?

Early in my career, I was lucky to have a female mentor who saw something in me before I fully recognised it myself. At a pivotal moment, when I was unsure about stepping into a bigger opportunity, she didn’t just encourage me, she genuinely backed me. That belief gave me the confidence to take the leap. It accelerated my growth, but more importantly, it showed me how powerful it is when women actively champion each other.

What’s a piece of advice that’s stayed with you?

Don’t wait until you feel 100% ready. I think many women hold back until they feel completely comfortable, but real growth happens when you allow yourself to feel a little uncomfortable and take that next step anyway.

Meet Eden, Assistant State Manager

What does International Women’s Day mean to you?

International Women’s Day is a powerful reminder of what women are capable of. It’s about recognising the courage it takes to back yourself, to lead with innovation, and to build spaces where others can rise too. For me, it’s both a celebration and a call to keep pushing forward.

What’s one thing you’re proud of right now?

I’m incredibly proud of the growth I’m experiencing at dusk, while also embracing life at home with my 18-month-old daughter, Ivy Brooke, who fills my world with joy and light. Balancing ambition and motherhood isn’t always seamless, but it is deeply rewarding. Evolving professionally while showing up fully for her is a chapter of my life I’m genuinely proud of.
